MS Error

How to Disable Error Reporting to Microsoft

It is frustrating enough when a computer program crashes. But isn't it doubly annoying when that little box pops up after a program crashes that asks if you want to report it to Microsoft? It's like adding an insult to injury. Well I recently found the fix! Here's what you do:

  1. Right-click the My Computer icon (or click Start, My Computer), and then click Properties.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab, and then click on the Error Reporting button.
  3. Select Disable Error Reporting, and then click OK twice.
Problem solved!
