Meet Our Newest Franchisee - Amayea Maat, Tucson, AZ

Cybertary would like to welcome our newest franchisee - Amayea Maat!!

alt Amayea chose Cybertary because when asked by colleagues and friends how long she had been planning to own her own business Amayea replied “I had not been planning it at all! I was asked if I was willing to consider it in addition to the other opportunities I had and I was willing. As part of my consideration set I was determined to only do something that would enable my passion for helping people, utilize all of my cumulative skills and experience as well as learning and growing new skills and experiences, and allow me to be part of a powerful and supportive community. I looked at three franchises and numerous companies and Cybertary was by far the only option that met all of my criteria! It was such a match and the support and persona of the founder and other franchisees were so priceless that there was no question in my mind whether this was the right move for me. I get to have all of my requirements met, choose who I want to work with AND make a difference in the community and our economy, what could be better than that?"

Meet Amayea Maat: Amayea is a transformational and results-centric business leader with broad global experience in customer support and quality assurance. Having spent the last 22 years in key companies like Xerox (14 years) and Intuit (5 years), Amayea has gained wide-ranging experience in developing teams that deliver strong business results. Her passion with people and customer service has also led her to build strong capabilities in change leadership, leadership & organizational development, process improvement, and strategy development, with extensive experience in both domestic and outsourced operations.

While gaining all of this experience Amayea has moved several times across the country starting from her home city of Syracuse NY through Pittsburgh PA, then Dallas TX, and is currently living in Tucson AZ.  "I never planned on moving this far west!" she says. "However, now that I am here I would like to stay put for awhile." Amayea realizes that being a career focused person in corporate America demands more flexibility in location and longer hours than she is willing to give at this point in her life. She is at a place where the next big move for her is to change from employee to entrepreneur. "There are so many great people and great small businesses that need help and support to achieve their goals and dreams. I realized that I can continue to achieve my goals and dreams by focusing my skills and efforts in supporting them!"
