Meet Our Newest Franchisee - Elissa Newland, Queens, NY
 
Cybertary would like to welcome our newest franchisee - Elissa Newland!!
alt Elissa ch ose Cybertary because she was looking for a way to be more flexible for her family’s needs, she had researched starting up her own business for several months and found the start-up process and details overwhelming. She couldn’t shake the idea that it would take her too long to lay the ground work before she could handle client’s needs. A friend had mentioned Cybertary to her and she liked that we had already created all of the tools she needed to operate her business so she could take on clients with the confidence of having a fully branded package in a short amount of time. The final selling point was the opportunity to be her own boss while benefiting from the Cybertary network so she wouldn’t be alone when/if she needed support. Elissa says "It’s like having a taskforce of dependable, pre-qualified professionals at my fingertips that allow me to offer my clients a broader range of services to meet their needs".     
 

Meet Elissa Newland: Elissa brings her education and expertise of the photographic and performing arts industries to Cybertary. She was raised in a conservatory theater environment where she learned all aspects of production. In high school she discovered her passion for photography and in college earned a B.A. in Media from Brooks Institute of Photography where she studied still, video, and motion picture production. Her corporate career began over 16 years ago working in the high tech industry of Silicon Valley where she had the opportunity to learn multiple business skills and corporate operations and ultimately applied her production management skills to internet marketing programs for Cisco Systems. Seven years ago she left  California for New York to pursue her dream of providing artists with the professional support that would allow them to make a living by creating their art. She is a specialist in transitioning traditional photographers into the world of digital imaging and has coordinated photo gallery projects that have toured internationally. Most recently she has been a Photo Editor of celebrity portraiture and has been rewarded by seeing images that she has selected publish on magazine covers around the world including Elle, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, and Marie Claire. Elissa lives in Queens, New York with her husband Bruce who is a Master Printer and Production Manager of large format projects for a high end photo and graphics print lab. Their son Bruce Jr. arrived in 2008 and will own his own camera as soon as he learns not to throw it.
