Cybertary would like to welcome our newest franchisee - Emma Farmer!!
 Emma chose Cybertary because for over 10 years, Emma had wanted to own her own business. After dedicating many years to successfully climbing the corporate ladder, she chose to purchase a Cybertary Unit Franchise and Region. She chose Cybertary because it is a concept that allows her to be the Entrepreneur and not simply the Technician in her business. Cybertary also affords her the work/life balance that she has often longed for. Emma states, “Cybertary was a match made in heaven for me. From the first time I met Patricia Beckman, CEO and Founder and heard ‘it’s just the right thing to do’, numerous times during our conversation, I knew that I had landed on the prize”. Emma is a natural born leader. She wanted a business that would compliment the hospitality industry which is where she spent the last 22 ½ years in key leadership positions with Marriott and a Charlotte hospitality franchise that owns an extensive Marriott hotel portfolio. Cybertary allows her to utilize her experience, skills and talents and to build, lead, motivate and manage teams of people while having fun doing so. Meet Emma Farmer: Emma has over 35 years of professional experience which includes hospitality and education. Her last 22 ½ years have been in the hospitality industry where for 15 years she held the titles of Director of Sales and Marketing, General Manager and Area General Manager for Marriott International. For the past 7 ½ years, Emma has held the titles of General Manager, Director of Revenue Management, Director of Operations and most recently VP of Operations and Sales for SREE Hotels, a successful franchise company in the Charlotte area. Emma brings to Cybertary Charlotte experience in leadership, training and development, team building, human resources, operations, sales and marketing. What Emma is most proud of is the role that she has played in the development of numerous associates that started in hourly or line level positions and are now currently General Managers or leaders in the hotel industry. Emma holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and she has many certifications, certificates of achievement and awards from Marriott International. Emma currently lives in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, but has also resided in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas while growing her career in the hospitality industry. She chose to own her business in her home state of North Carolina. Emma is a role model for integrity and she has an uncanny ability to be results oriented while keeping her internal and external customers in mind. Emma is proud to be married to her husband Ronnie and they have two daughters and a grandson. Emma enjoys traveling and meeting people. |
